About Us

Aged Care Education and Training (ACET) is a business portfolio of Health Leaders Australia (HLA) registered with ASIC and the ACNC as a not-for-profit, limited by guarantee health promotion charity.

ACET and HLA are governed by Board of Directors with decades of experience: as both registered health care professionals and as educators and trainers of health care professionals in the governance of health sector service delivery organisations including public and private hospitals, general practices, and residential aged care facilities; and in the governance of organisations focused of the delivery of education and training of doctors, nurses, and other health care workers.

ACET has a specific mission to provide readily accessible, high quality, cost-effective continuing professional development learning experiences and career enhancing outcomes for nurses and carers who are working in, or planning to work in, the residential or home-based aged care environment.

Our educators and trainers are highly competent and experienced nurses and doctors, with decades of experience in the provision of highly relevant and engaging education and training learning experiences, supporting resources, and the achievement of their targeted learning outcomes.
